Amethyst

Amethyst is a Czech grown Aroma hop. It is a derivative of Saaz (CZ).

It features subtle citrus, earthy and spicy notes.

Amethyst works well in Lagers and Pale Ales.

Alpha Acids: 3.5-6%

Beta Acids: 7-8%

Co-Humulone as % of Alpha Acids: 20-28%

Total Oils (mL/100g): 0.4-1.0

Myrcene: 41-43%

Humulene: 18-20%

Caryophyllene: 5-7%

Farnesene: 0-1%

All Others (including β-pinene, linalool, geraniol & selinene): 29-36%
