California Lager M54

Mangrove Jack's M54 California Lager is an extremely unique lager yeast because of its ability to ferment at ale temperatures without the typical associated off flavors or the extended lagering periods. It will create a clean and crisp lager that will allow excellent malt and hop character to be expressed. It is not designed for fermenting anything over 9% ABV though.

It is suitable for California Common/Steam Beers and Lagers that are fermented at Ale Temperatures.

Flocculation: Medium-High

Attenuation: 77-82%

Optimal Temperature Range: 64-68F

Alcohol Tolerance: 9%
