Hornindal Kveik OYL-091
Omega Yeast's OYL-091 Hornindal Kveik is a wonderfully unique Norwegian farmstead "kveik". This yeast strain produces a tropical flavor and complex aroma that can present itself as stone fruit, pineapple, and dried fruit leather. It will add even more dimension to "C" hops and will increase ester intensity with a high fermentation temperature. It ferments well at 90F or even higher. THere are non-phenolic and no fusels produced even at the higher temperatures.
Hornindal Kveik will complement fruit-forward hops and is a great choice for your next IPA.
