LalBrew CBC-1 was specifically selected from the Lallemand Yeast Culture Collection due to its refermentation properties. It is recommended for Cask and Bottle Conditioning. It will referment beer efficiently due to its high resistance to alcohol and pressure.
The flavor is netural, therefore the original character of the beer is preserved. The yeast wioll settle and form a tight mat at the end of refermetation.
Bonus! It can also be used for primary fermentation of dry ciders or meads!
Maltotriose is not metabolized during primary fermetnation of beer, so CBC-1 is well suited for sweeter fruti beers or full-bodied malty ales!
