Mangrove Jack's R56 yeast strain will enhance body and mouthfeel developing complex fruit flavors/aromas while promoting structure and longevity. It is a moderate fermenting yeast that is ideal in both new and old world styles. This strain will produce complex and interesting fruit-driven red wines.

It will develop dark fruit aromatics which means it will produce wines with a fruit forward aroma and a full-body. It is gentle on the must so it will preserve and enhance any flavor, color or body.

It is a good choice for just about any red wine.

Alcohol Tolerance: 15%
