White Labs Abbey IV Ale Yeast (WLP540) produces balanced fruit aroma and flavor characters. It is the ideal choice for use in Abbey-Style Beers including: Dubbels, Tripels, and Belgian Strong Ales, but it also works beautifully in Belgian Table Biers, Biere de Gardes, and Saisons.

WLP540 Abbey IV Ale Yeast is POF+ meaning that it will contribute phenolic characteristics to finished products.

Flocculation: Medium

Alcohol Tolerance: High (10-15%)

Optimum Fermentation Temperature:  66 - 72F
