Bastogne Belgian Ale Yeast WLP510
White Labs Bastogne Belgian Ale Yeast (WLP510) is a high-gravity ale yeast that will produce a dry beer with a slightly acidic finish. This strain is mild on spice-like phenols but is fruit forward. It has a high alcohol tolerance, upwards of 15%. It is a fantastic strain for any Belgian Style ranging from Table Beer to Dark Strong Ales.
WLP510 Bastogne Belgian Ale Yeast is POF+ meaning that it will contribute phenolic characteristics to finished products.
We recommend using this yeast strain in Belgian Table Biers, Dubbels, and Tripels.
