Belgian Wit II Ale Yeast WLP410
White Labs Belgian Wit II Ale Yeast (WLP410) is a pretty clean strain that has a medium intensity and spice-like phenol production. This strain will produce a residual malt character with up to 75% attenuation. It will help to balance any adjuncts and will result in an increased drinkability. It creates a slightly tart refreshing beer due to its slightly lower resulting pH in comparison to other English or American Ale Strains.
WLP410 Belgian Wit II Ale Yeast is POF+ meaning that it will contribute phenolic characteristics to finished products.
This yeast is the perfect choice for Witbiers and Belgian Table Beers, but it also works beautifully in Belgian Blonds, Belgian Dark Strong Ales, Belgian Table Biers, Belgian Wits, Biere de Gardes, Dubbels, Hefeweizens, Saisons, and Tripels.
