Burton upon Trent is known for pushing IPAs into the spotlight, and means this yeast strain is the original, and the best IPA yeast strain! It will produce a subtle fruity ester profile which is often described as notes of apple, clover honey, and pear. There is a background sulfur note that is common with this strain. It can be a great alternative to WLP001 California Ale Yeast.
It is fantastic when used in hoppy American and English Styles such as Pale Ales, Bitters, and Ambers.
