German Lager Yeast WLP830

White Labs German Lager Yeast (WLP830) is one of White Labs' most popular lager yeast strains. It is one of the most widely used lager strains in the world. It can be used in practically any lager style. It will produce a clean and crisp beer with some accentuation of hop characteristics.

Due to it's versatility it is perfectly suited for many lager types including: American Lager, American Light Lager, Bock, Bohemian Pilsner, Doppelbock, Marzen, Munchen Helles, Munchner Dunkel, Schwarzbier, and Vienna Lager.

Attenuation: 74-79%

Flocculation: Medium

Alcohol Tolerance: Medium (5-10%)

Optimum Fermentation Temperature:  50 - 55F
