Old Bavarian Lager Yeast WLP920


White Labs Old Bavarian Lager Yeast (WLP920) hails from Southern Germany. It finishes malty with a slight ester profile.

It is primarily suited for use in Oktoberfests, Bocks, and Dark Lagers, but it will also work well in Baltic-Style Porters, Doppelbocks, Marzens, Munchner Dunkels, Schwarzbiers, and Vienna Lagers.


Attenuation: 66-73%

Flocculation: Medium 

Alcohol Tolerance: Medium-High (8-12%)

Optimum Fermentation Temperature:  50 - 55F
