Pacific Ale Yeast WLP041


White Labs Pacific Ale Yeast (WLP041) hails from the Pacific Northwest. It has a mild ester production while still promoting malt character. It is a great flocculator and leaves a clear beer which will save time on conditioning.

WLP041 Pacific Ale Yeast works in a wide range of styles ranging from English Milds to American IPAs to Irish Stouts. It works well in numerous beer styles including: American Ambers, American Brown Ales, American IPAs, American Pale Ales, American Porters, Barleywine Ales, Cream Ales, English Brown Ales, English IPAs, English Old Ales, English Pale Ales, ESBs, Foreign Export Stouts, Imperial Stouts, Irish Dry Stouts, Irish Red Ales, Oatmeal Stouts, Scotch Ales (Wee Heavy), and Sweet Stouts.

Attenuation: 72-78%

Flocculation: High

Alcohol Tolerance: Medium (5-10%)

Optimum Fermentation Temperature:  65 - 68 F
