Wit - Belgian Wit-Style Ale Yeast - Lallemand
Wit Belgian Wit-Style Ale Yeast
LalBrew Wit was formerly known as Munich Wheat yeast and is a relatively neutral strain that can be used to produce a wide variety of wheat beer styles. The ester and phenol production is lower with this strain than a traditional hefeweizen strain like Munich Classic. It provides a baseline profile of banana and spice aromas, but leaves space fot he brewer to showcase other spice additions typical of Belgian style beers.
It's a great choice if your brewing a Belgian Witbier, American Wheat, Berliner Weiss, Gose, Hefeweizen, Dunkelweis, or a Weizenbock.
