Belgian Abbey Style Ale II 1762

The Wyeast 1762 Belgian Abbey Style Ale II is an excellent yeast strain to use in Belgian dark strong ales. It has a relatively "clean profile" which enables it let the rich malt and distinctive ethanol character to shine. There are delicate dried fruit esters produced when fermenting at higher temperatures or in a high gravity wort.

Attenuation: 73-77

Optimal Temperature Range: 65-75 F

ABV: 12
