Belgian High Gravity 3787


The Wyeast 3787 Belgian High Gravity is a classic Abbey strain that was designed for brewing Belgian Dubbel or Belgian Tripel. It produces a nice balance of complex fruity esters and phenolics which make it desirable for use in many other Belgian Style Ales as well. It is a flocculent true top cropping yeast that will work over a broad temperature range, but will require additional headspace in the fermentor. It makes a great Belgian style "house" strain.

Optimal Temperature Range: 64-78 F
