Briess Chocolate Malt

The chocolate flavor can be very complementary when used in higher percentages in Porters, Stouts, Brown Ales, Dunkels, and other dark beers when using Briess Chocolate Malt. It can be used in all beer styles for color adjustments.

Malt Style: Roasted Malt

Flavor: Rich roasted coffee, cocoa

Color: Brown hues

Lovibond: 350

Moisure: 5.5%

Suggested Usage Percentages:
1-10% Porters, Stouts, Brown Ales, Dunkel and other dark beers
