Liberty Bell Ale M36 (10 grams)
Mangrove Jack's M36 Liberty Bell Ale is a top fermenting ale yeast that will produce light, delicate fruity esters and help to develop malt character. Pear esters should be expected with this strain as well as the possibility of strawberry or even kiwi-like aromas. Clean delicate malt and hop aromas will survive fermentation with this yeast, but if hop and/or malt aromas are prominent in the beer the yeast's aroma characteristics will fade to background.
It will produce a clean, mostly neutral and smooth beer that will finish moderately dry without stripping away body. There will be a silky slightly smooth texture while maintaining a light to medium body. There is a mild acidity and mostly neutral flavor.
It is a great choice for a wide variety of hoppy and distinctive style beers including English and American Pale Ales, ESBs, and Golden Ales. The aroma contributions from this strain make it a good all around yeast strain for a wide range of ales including strong ales because it will provide the beer with plenty of body without being dense or heavy.
