This strain is isolated from a California strain that is famous for Zinfandel. It is ideally suited to making rich concentrated reds that have big mouthfeel. There are good mineral and spice notes when used with yeast nutrients.

It has an alcohol tolerance up to 16%. Use 1 gram per gallon.
