Sage Leaves

Sage Leaves have a pronouched herbal flavor that can be described as a strong earthy flavor. There are peppery notes that is complemented by the hints of mint, lemon, and eucalyptus.

They have been used successfully in many styles, commercially and at the homebrew level ranging from Pale Ales, Saisons, Strong Golden Ales. They can be added during the mash, throughout the boil, and at the end after fermentation.
