Sequoia® (HS-1228)

Hop Solutions Sequoia® is a hop created by BSG under the Cultivar/Brand ID of HS-1228. It is a USA grown aroma hop with an alpha acid range of 9-12% and a beta acid of 3.5-5.5%. 

There are notes of tropical fruit, specifically mango and pineapple, that are combined with west coast hop characters of citrus and pine.

Sequoia® was designed for Hop Forward Beers, IPAs, and even Hazy IPAs, Juicy IPAs, or NEIPAs.

Myrcene: 55-65%
Caryophyllene: 5-9%
