Briess Special Roast (Brown) Malt

Special Roast by Briess as well as Briess' Victory Malt are drum-roasted biscuit style malts, but Speical Roast is more deeply roasted. Overall, Special Roast is a complex flavored Biscuit-style malt. The proprietary malting process intensifies toasty and biscuity flavors and will develop noticeable bran flake notes as well as creating its distinguishing bold sourdough/tangy flavor.
