The Plastic Spoons and Paddles are made of food grade plastic, and are heat resistant. They are ideal for stirring in malt extract during boiling and for stirring in your fermenter. The small paddle on the opposite end of the spoon is designed to fit through a carboy neck which allows you to stir inside the carboy. Unlike the metal spoons and paddles the plastic ones will not scratch pastic fermenters. They do have a maximum temperature of 300F.
