Bitter Gold is a USA grown dual purpose hop with an alpha acid of 12-18.8% and a beta acid of 4-8%. It was originaly released under the Cultivar/Brand ID 7313-083.
Bitter Gold contributes limited aromas when it is used as a bittering hop. But when used as an aroma hop there is diverse stone fruit and tropical fruit flavors. With later additions you get notes of watermelon, stone fruit and pear.
It is a solid choice for your Belgian Ales, Pale Ales, IPAs, ESBs, Pilsners, Ales, Lagers and Bitters.
