USDA-008 (Experimental USDA 008)
USDA-008 is a USA grown dual purpose hop that has an alpha acid range of 10.1-11.1% and a beta acid range of 2.7-3.3%. This experimental variety is owned by the USDA under USDA-008 and is sometimes seen as USDA Elite Line 008 or USDA 200010-008.
There are notes of green apple, peach and mango rounded out with grassy and subdued earthy characteristics. It is very fruit forward with tangerine, meyer lemon and stonefruit notes all with backgrounds of pine.
It is a solid choice for your IPAs, Hazy IPAs, Juicy IPAs, NEIPAs and Pale Ales.
