Do you like Pete's Wicked Ale? This is our version of a justifiably popular microbrew. Our "Assateague's Awesome Ale" recipe kit is a little bit hard to categorize: you could think of it as either a "Dark IPA" or a "Strong Brown Ale." The beer is brown in color, but has the high hop flavor and aroma of a pale ale or IPA. The crisp hop bitterness is derived from generous portions of Northwestern US hops, with German and English hops also present in the mix. There's also plenty of malt for body and strength, and a blend of specialty grains for color and aroma.

 

All our Beer Kits come in a variety of Formulations with two yeast styles and enough ingredients to make 5 Gallons. You can choose from Malt Extract with Steeping Grains, Partial Mash, and All-Grain. You also can choose between Dry and Liquid Yeast. We recommend purchasing an ice pack for liquid yeast purchases that will be shipped.
