Scottish Ale 1728

The Wyeast 1728 Scottish Ale is a yeast strain that is ideally suited for the strong, malty ales of Scotland, but that doesn't mean that it isn't very versatile. It is often used as a House strain because it ferments neutral and clean. Higher fermentation temperatures will result in an increased ester profile.

Optimal Temperature Range: 55 - 75 F
