Alpha Amylase Enzyme (15 grams)

This thermostable powdered alpha amylase enzyme is used for the the hydrolysis of long-chain starch molecules into short-chain dextrins. It is for use in the mashing of grains, potatoes, or any other starch basede substrate prior to saccharification (with glucoamylase) and ethanolic fermentation.
