Bavarian Lager 2206


The Wyeast 2206 Bavarian Lager is a yeast strain that is used by many German breweries to produce rich, full-bodied, malty beers. A thorough diacetyl rest is recommended when fermentation is done. 

It is a great choice for Bocks and Doppelbocks.

Attenuation: 73 - 77

Optimal Temperature Range: 46-58 F

ABV: 9
