BDX Bordeaux Wine Yeast


This strain is an excellent choice for making a Bordeaux varietal or with a Zinfandel. It is well known for its ability to add structure to a wine.

It is a medium rate fermenter with low hydrogen sulfide production. The best results come from fermentation at 64 to 86 degrees F.

It has an alcohol tolerance up to 16%. Use 1 gram per gallon.
