Caliente is a US grown dual purpose hop with an alpha acid of 15.3% and a beta acid of 4.3%. Caliente means hot in Spanish but in terms of temperature not spice level.
It has flavors of citrus, peach, pine and cherry with aromas of stone fruit and mandarin orange all featuring some subtle peach, zesty lemon and lime, and some plum notes.
Caliente is a good choice for your IPA, Wheat Beer, Pale Ale, or Spice Beer.
