Centennial (US) Whole Hops
Sometimes referred to as Super Cascade, due to its similar citric characteristics to Cascade hops. It has a versatility and depth of bitterness and forward aroma that are beautifully balanced. There are earthy and floral notes that are complemented by citrus.
It's a great choice in the following Beer Styles: Extra Special Bitter (ESB), Barleywine, Imperial Stout, IPA, Pale Ale
Alpha Acid %: 9.5-11.5%
Beta Acid %: 3.5-4.5%
A good substitute for this hop would be Chinook, Galena, Nugget, Zeus, Columbus, or Cascade (US).
