Diamant (Diamond)

Diamant also known as Diamond is a German grown Aroma hop that was released in 2019. It has an alpha acid range of 3-8.5% and a beta acid of 3-8%.

There are bright orange citrus, light floral and sweet berry aromas with flavors of floral, orange, lemon-lime and strawberry all with strong candied citrus aromas and tangerine flavors. There are also notes of melon as well as creamy notes of yogurt. It is considered to have a classic aroma profile with sweet fruit full of wild strawberry and melon. Finishing it off there are flavors of fruit tea - specifically peach tea - enhanced by an herbacious spicy lemon balm, aniseed, lavender and geranium to round out the profile.

It's a great choice for American IPAs and American Pale Ales.
