Irish Ale OYL-005


Omega Yeast's OYL-005 Irish Ale is a good fermenter with reliable, average flocculation. It has a hint of fruit at the lowest recommended temperatures and increases in complexity at higher temperatures (think 64F and higher). There is some diacetyl possible.

The storied stouts of Ireland are balanced by this dry, crisp, lightly fruity, versatile and powerful strain. It is successful in dark and high gravity beers.

Attenuation: 69-75%

Optimal Temperature Range: 62-72F

Alcohol Tolerance: 12%
