Kolsch II OYL-044

Omega Yeast's OYL-044 Kolsch II is a traditional kolsch strain with the added twist that it is a warmer fermenter, especially in comparison to OYL-017 Kolsch I. It not only ferments warmer but it also flocculates much better and clears more quickly, making it a little easier to manage. It is a lager-like ale strain that is not only lightly fruity it is also crisp and clean with only a hint of sulfur that disappears with age leaving a clean ale. It will accentuate hop flavors, and give an all around stunning beer.
