Mt. Rainier is a dual use hop that has an alpha acid range from 5 to 8.1% and a beta acid of 5-7%.
There are many noble Hallertau-like aroma characteristics to this hop but there are also notes of citrus and licorice.
It is a great choice for use in Lagers, American Ales, and Porters.
