Briess Red Wheat Malt
This wheat malt can be used in part or as all of your base in malt in your wheat beers. It will run efficiently through your brewhouse with a slightly higher protein than in the Briess White Wheat Malt. It is often used in Hefeweizen and other traditional wheat styles due to the distinctive and characteristic wheat flour flavor. It will improve head and foam retention in any beer style. Even with the higher protein when using more than 50% of this malt in your grain bill it is still recommended for you to consider using a filtering aid for efficient lautering.
