Super Galena™ (Exp #99008)

Super Galena™ is a US grown dual purpose hop that has an alpha acid range of 13-16% and a beta acid of 8-10%. It was developed and is owned by Hopsteiner. It is also known as Experimental #99008. It is extremely similar to Galena - thus the name.

While it is primarily used for bittering is has grassy, spicy notes that can also add blackcurrant and fruity notes.

You could possibly substitute Cluster or Galena for Super Galena™.

It is found quite often as a whole leaf hop and in hop oil/extract form.
