Vinometer

A Vinometer estimates the alcohol by volume in still dry wine.  0-25% scale, with best accuracy between 8-13%.

High quality glass vinometer used to determine the alcohol content of dry wine after it is fermented. Not recommended for determining alcohol content of beer or liquor. Scale 0-25%.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Pour a small sample of wine into the cup on the vinometer. Allow about 6 drops to come out of the small end. Turn the vinometer over so the thin part is pointing up, and the cup is facing downward. The sample in the tube will settle much like a thermometer, giving an indication of the alcohol percentage. To clean the vinometer, rinse well with rubbing alcohol or some vodka. Sweet wine will not read accurately.
