Barbarian A04

Imperial Yeast's A04 Barbarian is an excellent yeast strain for any hop forward beers. It is commonly referred to as the conan yeast strain. It will produce stone fruit esters that work beautifully when paired with citrus hops. It will produce an exceptionally balanced beer leaving a nice round and full bodied mouthfeel.

It's a wonderful choice for juicy, hazy, New England IPAs.

If you need a substitution we recommend A24 Dry Hop or A38 Juice.

Flocculation: Medium

Attenuation: 73-74%

Optimal Fermentation Temperature: 62 - 70F

Alcohol Tolerance: 10%
