Phoenix

Phoenix is a UK grown dual purpose hop that has an alpha acid range of 8-13.5% and a beta acid range of 3.3-5.5%. It has a Cultivar/Brand ID of TC105 and was grown out of Wye College in England. 

Chocolate, pine, molasses and floral aromas come across with some slightly spicy notes in the flavor and aroma to create a well balanced rich bitterness.

It is a good choice for your English Ales, Porters, Stouts, ESBs and Bitters.

Phoenix could possibly substituted with Challenger (UK) or Northdown.
