Tahoma
Tahoma is a US grown aroma hop that has an alpha acid range of 6-8.2% and a beta acid of 7-9.5%. It was released by Washington State University in 2013. Tahoma is a daughter of Glacier.
It retains the low cohumulone characteristic of Glacier but displays slightly higher alpha acid content. Tahoma is considered to be “Cascade-like” with a pleasant, predominantly citrus aroma profile.
Tahoma features subtle flavors and aromas of lemon, citrus, orange, wood and spice.
It is a good choice for your Blonde Ales, Wheat Beers and Lagers.
You could possibly substitute Glacier for Tahoma.
