Taiheke is a New Zealand dual purpose hop that has an alpha acid range from 5 to 9% and a beta acid range of 5-5.5%. It can be used successfully throughout the brewing process.
Taiheke is known for its remarkable levels of citrus notes that tend more towards tropical fruit like grapefruit, lemon and lime. There are notes of floral, and citrus with a hint of spice.
It is a great choice for use in Ales, Pale Ales, IPAs, and NEIPAs.
