Vojvodina (US)
Vojvodina is a traditionally Serbian (former Yugoslavia) grown hop. This version is a US grown dual purpose hop that has an alpha acid range of 4.4-10.5% and a beta acid range of 2.3-4.7% although it is most often used as a aroma hop. It is a sibiling of Dunav and Neoplanta. It was originally created by the Institute for Agricultural Research in the former Yugoslavia.
It features woody aromas with notes of cedar and tobacco with some noble aroma notes thaty are similar to Northern Brewer (one of its parents) but these aroma notes are more intense and well rounded. It features mild bittering properties.
It is a great option for your Ales and Lagers.
Possible substitutions for Vojvodina are Northern Brewer (US) and East Kent Golding (EKG).
