East Kent Golding


East Kent Goldings is a dual purpose hop that is frequently used as an aroma hop. It has an alpha acid of 4-6.5% and a beta acid of 1.9-2.8%.

It has a gentle refined bitterness. It has an aroma that includes flowery, citrus peel, citrus candy, herbaceous, spring meadow-like, grapefruit, tropical fruit, melon, lavender, honey, lemon, thyme, and orange.

It is recommended for use in British IPAs, British Ales, Bitters, Scottish Ales, Porters, and Stouts.
