Michigan Copper™ (Copper)

Michigan Copper™ also known simply as Copper is a USA aroma hop that is owned by Great Lake Hops. It has a alpha acid range of 8.8-13% and a beta acid range of 2-3.5%.

It is a vigorous super-aroma hop with very fragrant floral and tropical aromas and flavors that are rich in fruit and candy notes. Best described as Hawaiian fruit punch there are notes of black cherry, red hard candy and hibiscus resin.

Michigan Copper™ can be used in the following styles with great suceess: American Pale Ale, IPA, Pale Ale, Wheat Beer, Belgian Beers, Lagers and Stouts.

It plays well with many hops and is frequently used with Amarillo® (US), Citra®, and El Dorado®.
