Bullion (US)

Bullion is a US grown aroma hop with an alpha acid of 5.3-12.5% and a beta acid of 4.5-6.5%. This traditionally grown USA hop has found success growing in the UK, the original American Grown Bullion is stronger than the UK grown Bullion. The USA Grown Bullion is sometimes identified under the Cultivar/Brand ID Q43. While Bullion (US) is not in mass production it is still available from some smaller hop farms.

It is known for its zest black currant aroma and flavor.

Bullion (US) could be used in Porters, Stouts and Dark Ales.

You could possibly substitute Brewer's Gold (US), Brewer's Gold (GR), Northern Brewer (US), Northern Brewer (GR), Bullion (UK), Galena, Bramling Cross or Mount Rainier.

Bullion (US) is also found in whole leaf form from time to time.
