Galena is a bittering hop that has an alpha acid that ranges from 11.5 to 15% and a beta acid of 7.2-8.7%.
It has aromas of Medium but pleasant hoppiness, Citrusy, Black Currant, Earthy, Pear, Pineapple, Lime and Grapefruit. It has a clean, well balanced bitterness.
It is a great choice for American Ales, Porters, and Stouts.
