Cashmere
Cashmere is a dual purpose hop that comes from the USA with an Alpha Acid of 7-10% and a Beta Acid of 3.3-7.1%.
It is an complex and intensely fruity aroma hop with strong overtones of lemon, lime, peach, and melon with secondary notes of coconut, lemongrass, candy and herbs especially when used as a whirlpool or dry hop addition.
It has aromas of Melon, Lemon, Lime, Herbs, Citrus, Fruity, Tropical, and Spice.
It's a great choice for Sour Beers, Brett Beers, Fruit Beers, Saisons, and IPAs.
Cascade could be a potential substitute for Cashmere hops.
Cashmere is frequently used with many hops but most notably it is seen with Mosaic® (HBC 369) and Citra®.
It is available as a Lupulin Powder/Pellet under the brands Cryo-Hops and LUPOMax. It is also frequently available as a Whole Leaf Hop.
