Grüngiest™ (Green Ghost)

Grüngiest™ also known as the Green Ghost is a German grown aroma hop has an alpha acid range of 2.9-3.3% and a beta acid typically around 8.29 %. It is owned by Hop Research Center Hull and is proprietary hop of Hop Head Farms. It was originally bred from Hallertau Tradition.

It blends New and Old World hop characters to create a unique combination of peach and passionfruit all balanced with hints of lemon zest and floral essence. There are some notes of stone fruit and red berries as well as hints of lemon-lime.

Grüngiest™ can be used in your Lagers, Kolsch, Helles, IPAs, NEIPAs, American Pale Ales and IPLs.

It plays well with other hops and is frequently used with Amarillo® (US), Aramis and Azacca®.
