Hallertau Tradition (GER)
The German Version of Hallertau Tradition is frequently seen simply as Tradition and occasionaly as Hallertauer Tradition. It is an aroma hop that has noble hop characteristics, it has an alpha acid of 4-7% and a beta acid of 3-6%. It has a Cultivar/Brand ID of 78/28/16.
It has an aroma similar to Hallertauer Mittelfruh with earthy and grassy characters that sit atop notes of nectar fruits. These nectar fruits are mostly citrus (orange) and lime aromas that are combined with woody herbal and green grassy notes. There are also notes of tea and lavender.
It is recommended for use in German Lagers, Lagers, Wheat Beers, and Pilsners.
